Travis was found wandering the streets of Vacaville by a caring family who brought him to us. He was then adopted by a family that adores him, but sadly their other dog never accepted him. Travis is a lover not a fighter, and is very scared of the other pup, which his current family feels is unfair to him. After trying to make it work for many months, they have come to the hard decision that Travis should go to another home as either an only dog or with dogs who will be his friends!

Travis'
favorite things (in no particular order) are: 1. Riding in the car, 2. Sleeping on the couch, 3. Soft squeaky toys, and 4. YOU! Seriously, Travis is just one big cuddlebug and all he wants is someone to love him right back. We're pretty sure he is a rare "Teacup St. Bernard"... Ok just kidding! We actually thi nk he's a herding dog mix, perhaps some type of collie or herding shepherd (he weighs about 50 lbs) but he looks just like a mini St Bernard! Travis doesn't do well with younger kids or cats (he chases them), but adores anyone 12+ years. He also has some anxiety when it comes to the loud noises of the city, and would do better in a quieter neighborhood or in the suburbs. This guy loves going for walks - especially at the beach, where he jumps for joy upon arrival -  but is also one big couch potato. This, coupled with the fact that he is totally potty trained, means he's a great dog for anyone at work all day - just as long as he gets his walks in! He also loves to "help" (aka follow you around and hang out while you work, do chores, etc). Looking for a fuzzy bundle of pure love? Look no further - Travis is your man!
