Most of our dogs are relatively healthy, but sometimes dogs come to us with conditions that are undiagnosed and need treatment.  We also make it a point to rescue dogs that wouldn't have a chance otherwise.  This includes dogs needing orthopedic or eye surguries, treatment for mange or other skin conditions, or conditions like heartworm, as well as those dogs who have been abused or neglected and need special or ongoing care.

In addition to these special cases, because so many rescued dogs come from harsh conditions, they often need relatively routine treatment, but that treatment can often mean an overnight stay in the veterinary hospital, for something like rehydration or intravenous medication.Veterinary care is expensive. 

A surgery routines costs $1000.00 or more.  A single overnight hospital stay can easily run $500.00. We're committed to providing the care and love our dogs need to go on to normal and happy lives in their new forever homes.
